My blog in English needs some language comments.

Question

I decided to practise my English writing a blog in English. Now my biggest problem is that I need somebody to correct and possible comment my language mistakes otherwise I will practise incorrect English, which seems to be even worse than lack of practice...

I enjoyed reading your blog and your English is at that awkward stage where there are still errors but actually you can communicate your meaning very well. Just persevere. It might be a good idea to try and find an advanced English course.

Good luck with the job hunt. Don't get too downhearted. You say you wish you were a native English speaker so that it would be easy to find an interesting job. I'm afraid that it isn't easy for anyone! We have graduates coming out of our ears and the arts sector is very popular and highly competitive - it is very difficult to get that first job and lots of English people who want to work there don't ever get the chance. I'm not trying to put you off though. Just be determined and keep trying. Do you have relevant qualifications? Your job at the gallery is a good start - it may not be really what you want to do but at least you are being exposed to the arts world in general. It's got to be worth more on your CV than just working down at Tescos.
