My best friend

Please help me correct them, thanks!

Everybody has friends, but each of us has a special friend whom I call best friends. A best friend is someone who is close to me and cares for me more than my normal / usual friends. My best friend’s name is Jie Ru. We have been friends since the first day of school.

Jie Ru is slightly taller than me. Both of us have big eyes, pointed nose and short hair. Although there are slight differences between us, it is not an obstacle in our friendship.

We study in the same school and class. Her ambition is to be a fashion designer. Her hobby us writing novels, reading magazines and surfing the web. She is always updated with the latest rumours and gossip. So, nobody can stop liking her.

Personally, I think she is helpful and kind. She always helps me in times of trouble. She is also my Chinese tutor, while I am her English tutor. Not only in school, she is also helpful at home. She often helps her mother to do household chores.

I am as proud as a peacock to have a friend like her. though this journey of our friendship, I have learnt from her that a friend in need is a friend indeed. On top of all, I wish that our friendship will last forever.
