"My Bad"

I've heard people use the stupid phrase "my bad" off and on for a couple of years now. This couldn't possibly be considered correct grammar could it? Grammatically speaking, what's wrong with using it?

If enough people use it for long enough, then eventually it will be considered correct grammar. In the meantime, it's merely irritating.
