Vocabulary

My baby never 1) squeals 2) screeches 3) more similar verbs please

Hi there,

Are there any "noticeable" differences between the verbs "squeal" and "screech" (see the example sentence below)

"This rug rat is real lovely! Besides he never squeals/screeches/???"

Hope neither verb is rude/impolite?

In general, which is the most polite/delicate way to say that a baby is being kind of "too noisy"? :-)

We don't usually say that a baby squeals or screeches. We sometimes say ' screams '. The parents will not like these words.
