Mutli-task VS multi-tasking

What is the difference between the following phrasal verbs "Mutli-task VS multi-tasking"?

Which one is formal?
Can I say "He is a multi-tasking employee?
Can I say "We are looking for a multi-task printer"?

Can I say "There is a various usage of this word" instead of "There is a various uses of this word"?
As I understand from you I can say "He is a multi-tasking employee" but I can't say "I have a multi-tasking Printer", Am I right?

Both of these are wrong. You can say "There are various uses of this word".
