Is this correct english?
The event has happened in the recent past so can I say this?
"He must have been on cloud nine in these 6 months. "
"Must have been" is the these correct?

" This sentence is possible, but "in these 6 months" is not very natural to me. : "He must have been on cloud nine over the past six months" (six months leading up to the present) "He must have been on cloud nine over those six months" (six months further back in the past) Note that "must have been" is not an ordinary present perfect tense.
