Let's I just told someone a joke. And I say:

This must be the funniest joke you've ever heard.
This must have been the funniest joke you had ever heard.

What's the difference between them?

whatchadoin, I've noticed that the sentences you have posted so far are not the kind native speakers consider "natural". If I told someone a joke, I could only hope it was funny enough to make him laugh. I, or anyone, shouldn't be making the following statements because they don't make logical sense.
