Hi friends,
We often say 'he wonders why it happens.'
can we use muse in the same way? He is musing why it happens or something like that. I know what muse about or muse over is common, but just wondering if this is also used.
thanks,
GHA
' I don't often say it in that fashion, so that seems about as odd as exchanging 'wonders' for 'muses over'. That said, there is no reason why you cannot use muse, consider, think about, ponder, speculate about , or any other similar verb in that slot.
