Music/music video

Can "music" in the following text mean "making music videos"? Because, Tony Kaye makes music videos and not music in the real world.

Context:

In this chapter, I will concentrate on one practitioner in particular, Tony Kaye, who emerges as a key figure for his substantial body of creative work in both fields, for the diversity of his overall cultural production, including film and music, and because he represents a way of moving fluidly between the disciplines which seems entirely postmodern (Art and Advertising by Joan Gibbons).
