Murky writer

Hi, I would like to know what is meant by the expression "a murky writer". I don't have any context. I found out that "murky" is "obscure" but I'm not sure whether this adjective is what the expression means.

Thanks!

Hi

It may mean a writer who works in the genres of horror, fantasy, science fiction and the thriller

There is a British magazine - Murky Depths - that publishes stories of this kind in prose form or with graphics

But, as said, it is hard to be sure without context

Regards, Dave
