multiple choice close

My answer in this multiple choice question was d. However, the correct answer is b. but, "no longer" fits too, doesn't it?

....... did he complain to the head waiter all night, but he didn't leave a tip at the end of the night either!

b. on no account
c. not only
d. no longer

I would say the answer is C , Not only did he complain to the head waiter all night, but he didn't leave a tip at the end of the night either! The others will not work.

I would say the answer is C, Not only did he complain to the head waiter all night, but he didn't leave a tip at the end of the night either!

no longer...all night just doesn't make sense.
