Hi

I am of the opinion that it should be either "she is the same age as I am" or "She is as old as I am".

Thank you.

You are right, but your second answer does not appear in the given options.

Manthan, Clive asked Natalli to tell us what she thought. We do not simply spoonfeed answers to homework questions to students unless they have made an effort themselves first.

In future please wait for the student's response.

Well, hi to all and thank you for your comments.

Am not a student, just had a problem in understanding this sentence. I guess, it should be either b or c. The preposition 'of' before 'same' confused me.

I am a new user on this site, so I am not familiar with all the rules. But I will keep this in mind and will not repeat the mistake.

Thank you.

Hi,

E.g. "How old is Betty?"- " ..".

a) She is so old as I am b) She is the same age as I am c) She is of the same age as I am

B is the best answer. C is not wrong, but a native speaker wouldn't say it.

The most natural thing to say is 'She is the same

Hi,

That's what I thought. B is the correct answer.

Thanks a lot dear Clive Emotion: smile
