Multi-day

MS Windows Update suffers multi-day outage.

I couldn't find the definition of multi-day in my dictionaries. Does that mean to happen several times in one day?

Thanks

Multi-day appears ambiguous to me: several times a day or lasting several days. Another similar word is biweekly: occurring twice a week or occurring every other week.

Thank you so much, MH and CB.
I sometimes may have to be a little careful about which meaning should be applied.

It means the outage was continuous over several days (more that one day, anyway). It could have been intermittent in that it worked sometimes du
