Muddle headed

Hi.

Which spelling is correct: "muddle headed", "muddle-headed" or "muddleheaded"?

You can spot three of them being used by journalists.

Thank you.

I would use "muddle-headed". "muddleheaded" is recognised by several dictionaries. "muddle headed" is the least desirable, in my view.
