"Easier" itself means "more easy." If you want to add a degree of emphasis, say "much easier."

When you add -er to an adjective, as when you change easy to easier, you can't add more.

So these are all wrong: more easier, more harder, more prettier, more happier, more sadder, ...

You'll need much easier for your example.

and use 'more' for long adjectives like: more interesting, more complicated, ...

Hello teachers,

Will you laugh if I use "handsomer"? " I'm handsomer than my brother." I know it's grammatically correct but, doesn't it sound awkward to a native ear? I often hear native speakers using "more handsome" instead. Thank you.
