Vocabulary

much to do

Speaker 1: Where do you live?

Speaker 2: I have a house in the suburbs.

Speaker 1: Oh, I bet it's really quiet. But is there much to do there?

Speaker 2: No, not much. In fact, nothing ever really happens. That's the trouble.

May I ask what the sentence in red means? Thanks.

And, why is that a trouble? Please advise.

"much to do" - activities, events - perhaps concerts, movies, plays, community events. "that's the trouble" - that's the problem, that's what I find wrong with it.
