much of a man

Dear Teachers,

1. He was not much of a man.

- This means "he didn't behave like a real man", right?

2. I'm off to bed now.

- This means "I gotta go to bed now", right?

3. You shouldn't go to her house with empty handed.

- Is this natural?

4. - Let the train go, buddy.

- You got it!

- What does "you got it!" mean here?

5. The problem was soon behind him.

- What does this mean?

Thanks very much to Teachers,

Stevenukd.
