Much More Mad or Madder (Repost)

Prior to me getting an account here, I've posted a message regarding the above subject. (I got some 'missed' responses so I am re-posting)

My question is: Using "English" and general 'proper' speaking. Is it correct (Grammatically Proper) to say (Or write) "I am much more mad today then I was yesterday.”

I do understand that "I am madder today then I was yesterday." will work. I just want to know grammatically if it makes a difference which one I use or, if both are fine.

Also, how would “much more full” (as opposed to fuller) work in the above sentence instead of mad? There are many more examples, but full and mad seem to fit just fine.

Thank you in advance for your reply.
