Much More Mad?

Are these proper sentences? "I am much more mad today then I was yesterday." or how about "I am much more full now then I was before I ate that steak."... My question is am I forced to use "Madder" or other forms of this "Much More ____" etc.. Thank you in advance for your time...

First you have to ask, "proper" for what language situation/what register/ what meaning? Studies show that ENLs don't always stick to the traditional rule regarding the use of comparative forms. Normally, in most neutral speech we follow the usual pattern, yet there are differences that have not been fully analysed nor adequately described as yet.
