Much idea?

Is it correct to say,

"I don't have much idea of what are the essential things I've to buy first for my new born baby."

Thanks~

I don't have much idea of the essential things I've to buy first for my newborn baby. Some grammarians may argue with 'much idea', but it is common in spoken English.
