Common "toppings" for hot dogs would be mustard, pickle relish, chopped onions, etc. Usually they're called condiments.

Hi, I remember once when I was in Holland I'd tasted a frikandel with chopped onion, hot pepper and pickle cucumber..it was delicious. :-)
