Much better

Can I say "much better" or "much worse" because "better" and "worse" are already a comparative degree of adjective. Just the way i cant say "much nicer". Is it correct?

Thanks

Sorry, but I don't quite see the problem, varshakk. 'Much' is an adverb among other things. It is an adverb of degree for scalable qualities. You can use it with any such adjectives:

He is much nicer now
He is much better now.
He is much poorer now.

He is much more confident now.
He is very much more confident now!
