Msc in civil engineering in Germany

I'm applying for an Msc in civil engineering in Germany and I'm just wondering if you could review my letter of motivation. It's my first draft so it obviously needs some work. I really appreciate all your help.

A LETTER OF MOTIVATION

I am xxxx, reside at xxxx, xxxx, born at xxxxxxx. I would like to tell you about my motives to continue my postgraduate study in Germany.

Since my childhood, my love for knowledge and learning was very great and I was dreaming to become a Civil Engineer, so I was studying hard till I achieve this dream. But during my academic study I found that my goal is greater than that which is following my study and Higher Education abroad.

I want to continue my study and specialization in the field of Construction Engineering and my aim is to look for the most modern technology and methods in this field.
I have studied Civil Engineering in xxxx University in xxxx which participated in many programs and projects financed by the European Union . when I Graduated from the university I got a rating of “Good” and trained a lot in this field. I searched on the internet about special information in the engineering of the buildings related to the structural designs , I wish and hope to be able to continue my studies and projects in Germany to learn and acquire experiences from its universities and doctors.

However , I have increased my engineering knowledge in Syria a great deal and have learned more about engineering softwares such as ETSBS and AutoCAD which I applied on my Graduation Project and I am currently using them in my work . Also I have seen and been in a good deal of lectures about the Finite Element and Modeling methods and the importance of their computational applications, so , I find myself that I am one of the students who is qualified to apply for an admission from your program, I would therefore, feel obliged to be able to secure admission in your prestigious university and I am sure that I will match all the credentials and will be able to maintain high standards at your university, I will be very grateful and lucky if I could complete my study and scientific research in Germany.

Most of my University – even my country – projects, contracts and agreements in the field of Civil Engineering were signed with German experts whereas Germany is considered one of the pioneer countries all over the world in this field. This attracted my attention and became curious to know the laws and customs of the German Society throughout searching on the internet. Since I was always eager to strengthen and develop myself in techniques and technology of buildings construction , I searched for a German university to respond to this scientific wish and found that at TU Berlin University.

Because my country is in a profound need to many projects and planning to rebuild the cities ,towns and villages which were destroyed by the war, I would like to bring with me from Germany the most modern methods for rebuilding process and in this case I can help thousands of people who left their houses and I would come back home to my beloved country Syria to contribute in developing it.
Again , I am thankful to take my application into consideration and I look forward for a positive response.
