So the dictionaries are wrong, but I thought we use dictionaries to find answer to spelling or meaning of words.

I didn't say that (though they occasionally are). I was expressing my opinion. Mr. is an abbreviation of Mister or Master, and Mrs. is an abbreviation of Mistress, but neither Miss nor Ms are abbreviations for anything, so neither should take a full stop.
