Hi

Are these lines OK for report writing? Any suggestions are welcome.

The MRT share was not augmented with the rise in the cost of the employees, which got doubled in last four years, whereas the funding flow under MRT and Self Source Income remained constant.

I'm not sure what 'MRT share' means, but the verb 'augment' is perhaps not the right choice. Neither am I clear on what 'self-source income' is; is it 'self-employed income'? Otherwise: The MRT share was not augmented with the rise in employee wages , which have doubled in the last four years, while the funding flow under MRT and self-source income remained constant.

  • 'Whereas' is a bit stuffy for financial reporting.
