Mr Smith or he?

Hello everyone. Please let me know which of the following conversations are correct?

Conversation one:
A: This morning I talked to Mr Smith about the problem.
B: Who is Mr Smith?
A: Mr Smith is our new neighbor.
B: Oh ok.

or

Conversation two:
A: This morning I talked to Mr Smith about the problem.
B: Who is he?
A: He is our new neighbor.
B: Oh ok.

I'd write the last line of each as Oh, OK or Oh. OK.

Apart from that, both are grammatically correct, but the first could use a pronoun or two:

A: This morning I talked to Mr Smith about the problem.
B: Who is Mr Smith? or Who's he? / Who is he?
A: He's / He is our new neighbor.
