Mr Miyagi has died

Question

Pat Morita who played Mr. Miyagi in the Karate Kid movies and on the television show Happy Days (he was the restaurant owner), has died in Las Vegas at the age of 73.

Did you know that the original Karate Kid came out in 1984. That's 21 years ago! OUCH!!!!

.......I didn't know Noriyuki Pat Morita had died until I read this thread....I'm sad

I really liked 'Miyagi-san' in the Karate Kid. (Yes, I liked the movie very much.)
I recall one scene - Miyagi-san taught Daniel how to apply wax to a car, saying "Wax on, wax off." (As a training of Karate)
Daniel's puzzled face, Miyagi-san's low-keyed way of speaking......one of my favorite scenes in the movie.
