Mr Last Name or Mr. First name . Last name

Speaking to the client for the first time. Should i speak to him like Mr. Last or or Mr First name and last name or simple his First name. My seniors and colleagues refer to him in plain first name but im speaking to him for the first time and want to make an impression .

Most definitely 'Mr Last name'.

Wait for him to invite you to use his first name.

I was just a little more cautious because different cultures seem to have different approaches to this.
