0 Hi,02br 00watch out. Usually subtitles don't match exactly what the actors say, they might be quite different or leave out important parts (important for learning). If you want my opinion, I find movies somewhat difficult to understand, generally speaking, and not very useful (they often talk too quietly and too little, fast, etc.). Here's my advice, Watch any English movies with English subtitles. Nothing benefits me more than these movies. Most importantly, they keep you updated with what native speakers really say in the real world. At first it may seem difficult, but after a while, it'll be a piece of cake. Good Luck
HI. I agree that older movies are much better as the spoken language is much slower. If you are learning English to improve your grammar, then you can also begin to watche all time classics like Peter Pan, or even Sount of Music. There are also Animal Planet Documentaries which have very interesting topics you may enjoy.
the movies that i understand perfectly without subtitles are the CHINESE movie that DUBBED into english language .. these kind of movies are very very helpfull specially for beginners cos they in slow english ( most of them )
