Movie literate

Hello,

Does "He's quite movie literate" sound okay? (meaning he knows a lot about movies, etc) I usually encounter "scientifically/financially/etc literate. I know that "computer literate" works, but I am not so sure about "movie literate". It's probably okay.

Thank you.
