movie and subtitle

Hi, everyone, I have been studying the pronunciation of native speakers through the movies of America so long, but it really makes me upset.
For example, in this recording( https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzBab3xdL_xFM2Q5bjBaUXFrOXc/view?usp=sharing ), I think I heard "you no waste time , hey", but the subtitle tells me it's "You don't waste time, do you?", all subtitles that from youtube and many sites told me this. What happened?

And it's in the beginning of the movie ( more accurately, 0:45)

This is what they say:

Hey, buddy! You don't waste time, do you?
I try not to.

'You' is almost elided and the 'd' sound is softened.
