Movie

My friends are watching a movie on DVD and I say:

What's playing?

Can this be used?

Thanks!

Hi Precious,

I'd be more comfortable with "what's on?", or " what are you watching (looking at)?".

Hi,

'Playing' is used more for a public movie theatre, although we usually say eg What's on?

In someone's home, I often say 'What are you watching?
