Moved

Did you go to Inglewood high school? I say:

"Yes, for only a semester though then I transferred to a boarding school up in Santa Barbara." and I continue with:

"Yeh, I moved around a lot!" Or should it be:

Yeh, I've moved around a lot!" Or are both useable?

Thanks!

Both are fine, the difference is that the first is past tense, the second is perfect tense.
