Move to a country

Hi.
What's the difference between 'moving to a country' and 'immigrating to a country'?

Thanks in advance!

Hi I think the main difference is how long you intend to stay there. You might move to a country for a year or two, because of your career, and then have to move on to somewhere else But if you migrate, then you have the intention of settling in the new country. You want the new country to become your home and - at the time, at least - you have no plans to move again Dave
