move seat up / back

Do you move a seat up / back?
How would one say:
Who moved the the driver seat up? I can't fit my legs. Did someone drive my car while I was gone.

I had to move the seat back because someone a lot shorter had driven my car.

Thanks

That's all good, except "can't fit my legs" is a little unnatural. "Can't get my legs in" or "my knees are hitting the dash" or something.
