Dear fellows, I need your help to know how to precisely express in English the meaning of the following Brazilian Portuguese words:
Nós sabemos que todos esses estudantes têm um sonho, seguir em frente.
Translation: We know that all these students have a dream, to...?
The last four words mean, in Brazilian Portuguese, something like to go ahead toward a better life.
I know that when some bad thing happens, people say "move on", meaning that one has to overcome the bad thing and keep going with their life. But this is something that has a negative side.
The case in point has something positive, the students work hard to study, overcome many difficulties to pursue their dream.
How to express that in English? Move on, carry on, or what?
TIA.
