Move in close, move close, move in

What's the difference among 'move in close' , 'move close' and 'move in' ?

A <---------- B

e.g. A&B are at different positions.

Thanks

All are rather casual, I think. The first two indicate a nearer approach than the 3rd option necessarily does; other than that, I see no difference with regard to a physical interpretation.
