move around...?

Hi everyone~!

I'm wondering the meaning of the phrase 'move around' in relation to locations.

What I mean is ... if someone says "She moved around the house like a child," does that mean the activity happens inside the house or outside(near) the house ?

Or can it be both?

Thanks for the one who gives me a hand~! ^^

It would normally mean that she moved around within the house. It would take added context to derive the meaning of moving around the outside of the house.

If there's a courtyard, it could be both within and without the house itself.
