Hello, could someone help me with the questions about the word mountain?
The prepositions used:
Do you go skiing (in? (on?)) the mountain?
If you live in a house (in?) (on?) the mountain,can you tell people that you live (in?) (on?) the mountain ?
The articles used:
1. "I live in/on a mountain" 2. "I live in/on mountains" 3. "I live in/on the mountain" 4. "I live in/on the mountains"
Which describes a specific mountain? Which talks about any mountain?
The number of the word:
When talking about "mountain" generally, do we say "a mountain" or "mountains"? What's the difference?
Can we say "one mountain", "two mountains", or "many mountains"?...
