Motvation Letter

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I am writing to express my interest in applying for the master program of Technology (Civil) and Master of Technology Management (Construction Management) at XXXX University of Technology for the 2012 semester. I strongly believe that both my educational background and deep concern in this field of study make me a very good candidate for the program.

I graduated fromXXXXUniversitywith a bachelor’s degree in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering, class 2A honours last year. I acquired good interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of engineering theory and the ability to apply learning and knowledge to a wide range of situations.

Currently working at local government as Construction Engineer, where I am improving my skills in construction management and site coordination. This Master Programme will contribute positively to the evolution of my career as it suits perfectly as an upgrade of the current position I hold and will allow me to develop my skills in project management. I have taken part in workshops and training courses in order to extend my knowledge on roads and drainage construction, which were quite beneficial to my career and studies.

Studying at your multicultural university enables me to improve my interpersonal talents. I would be learning in one of the best universities inAustralia. I am convinced that this Master Degree would provide me with the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to be a successful project manager, which will help me to form higher qualifications for my future.

I have the ability, ambition and motivation to exceed the requirements and to excel at the university. I am eager to gain new experiences, and, in my opinion, this program is the best way to achieve that. Therefore, I would be very proud and happy if I received the admission for this program.

Thank you for considering my application.

Yours Sincerely,
