Mottivation letter review
Hi everyone, I'm writing my first motivation letter,, and English is my 3rd language.So i don't know if it is structured well, please be kind check it
I am applying for the Erasmus Mundus Bachelor’s Degree program at the university of Minho with the intention of further specialization in Business and Marketing.
Having reviewed several bachelor programs, in consultation with professors and my collegues, I am confident that this program is a concrete step towards my study and career of my research in Agribusiness Sphere.
I always use my key strengths of intelligence, curiosity, single-mindedness and perseverance. Both in the primary school and in the high school I won several intellectual competitions. The most meaningful was Junior Achievement’s Economic Contest, where our group of 4 girls achieved first place in our region (Armenia consists of 11 regions).
After graduating school despite of long distance I moved to Yerevan(capital of Armenia) to study at Agrarian University and by the end of my 6th semester I decided to enter Agribusiness Teaching center, (which is the branch of Texas university) as my goals were to improve my knowledge in economics, get to know new people. Moreover I learned a great deal about myself. So that was one of my best decisions.
Except studying I devote much of my time to volunteerism. I think that it is everybody's duty to take care of the environment and those people who need our help. I have took part in several projects across Armenia. I visited children living in orphant houses, participated in environmental projects as well. I have also been in Barcamp as a volunteer. It was really important for me as I have learned to be responsible not only for me but also for the peopleI was working with.
I would really like to study international relations, economics, accounting and marketing since these are the fields that are not developed in Armenia like in Europe.
Business is not only about accounting and numbers. One must know the strategies, have idea of how other countries run economics to be able to contribute the same to his/her own country. I’m well aware that the key to a successful economy is one open to the influences of globalization. My aim is to work in an international field related to economical and business affairs, somehow contributing to stabilize and boost some economical aspects of Armenia such as tourism and banking. I am convinced that this program would provide me with the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills I need for being a successful businesswoman in the future. I can see from inside how economically successful mechanism works in EU and I will do my best to do the same in my country. The highly qualified lectures, the modern teaching methods and the academic environment at university will motivate and enable me to achieve my goals.
Another reason why I applied for the Erasmus program, is because I will improve my English and my international experience. I am convinced that working and studying with international students will make me more motivated.
So I believe that being a part of your department would not only enrich my career but would also help to attain my maximum potential. Moreover, I can avail myself to numerous exciting career opportunities and a successful completion of my Bachelors’s Degree at the University of Minho. It will be an excellent springboard for my future career.Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to your positive response.
