MOTIVATIONAL STATEMENT HELP

Hi everyone,
I just discovered this forum and...let me say, it's wonderful what you all do. Helping each other and increasing your english abilities at the same time.

Now I ask you to help me in checking, and maybe ameliorating the motivational letter I wrote in order to apply for the master course in my university. thank in advance to everyone who will help me Emotion: big smile

Dear Sir/Madam,

With this letter, I would like to express my interest in continuing my studies in Bocconi University, as a student of the “CEMS MIM Program”.

I am currently enrolled in the 3rd year of the Bachelor in Economics and Management (CLEAM). I have really appreciated my experience in this university until now, for this reason I was very delighted to have the opportunity in continuing to be part of this community, but at the same time in opening my horizons at an international perspective, entering in the most renowned and challenging Master course offered by this university.

As my aspiration is to become a global player of the job market, I was astonished reading about the organization of the CEMS MIM program. First, this program covers the business topics that interest me the most, and it allows the students to choose many of their courses in order to specialize in their preferred area of interest. Moreover, the number of foreign universities and companies that are partners of the program is an incredible benefit for whoever aspires to have (to develop) an international career. Finally, the strongest quality of the program I am attracted in is the opportunity to study in an environment that could help me to fulfil myself in both professional and personal contexts. In fact, the possibilities to meet and study with people from all over the world, to spend a semester abroad in some of the internationally top-ranked universities, and even to have a connection with the real job-world, working on the term project and doing an internship abroad, are experiences that go beyond the enhancement of your professional skills. They mostly help you to learn more about the different cultures, to exchange ideas, to increase your awareness of differences and therefore to develop a global vision, which is a strong advantage for a successful professional career.

Concerning my personality, I believe I am a very responsible individual who loves to learn new things in life and to seek new experiences. I enjoy observing the people around me and meeting others with understanding and respect. During the last year, I took part in the exchange program, spending one semester in Koc University, Istanbul. I had the opportunity to make some good friends coming from every possible point of the world. This experience made my desire to live in an international environment even higher than it was before. In fact, I felt very comfortable living in a country which religion and habits are so different from the ones I am used to. Thus, I am convinced that I would be fitting very well in the CEMS MIM program, and I would face enthusiastically any of the possible exchange destinations, without having any integration problem with the local culture.

At the end, I would like to point out that I am determined to make the most of this opportunity. I have always been very determined in everything I am doing. From my football career, which I stopped one year ago, to the school, which I have always considered as a priority, to the little jobs that I frequently do in order to help me to afford to be a student. Therefore, I am confident that my determination and desire to achieve my goals will help me to perform well and surpass any possible obstacle. Furthermore, the competitiveness and extra effort that the CEMS MIM program requires, would be an incredible stimulus for me to perform at my best, making a significant contribution to this program.

I am grateful for considering my application and I look forward to a favorable reply.
Sincerely,
