Motivational Letter for Erasmus URGENT

Hello,
I've been browsing this website for few days now, and it proved to be extremely helpful in writing my motivational letter.
I'm looking for some feedback on the piece of work I've just finished.
It's pretty wacky for a motivational letter, yet I think it's a true representation of myself and my personality. It's for an art school so I'm allowed, right? Emotion: smile

Dear Sir/Madam,
With this letter I would like to express my interest in studying at the Academy of Arts Mxxxxxx as an Erasmus exchange student during the summer term.
A veil of displacement has always been attached to me, since I never found a physical definition of home. Living as unorthodox gypsy throughout my life has undoubtedly allowed me to develop an unconventional admiration for art. I was born in a Polish city on the Baltic Coast called Gdansk, to a Polish mother and Italian father. My early years were evenly spread across countless post-communistic houses, apartments and flats. As the anchor of stability has never really been cast, I wasn’t too upset to leave my homeland when my mother decided to sail to the British Isles. Viewing the world as a passive spectator has enabled me to discover theatrical clarity of life based upon the never ending search for contentment. Yet, in the technologically advanced world of globalisation contentment is almost unreachable as the more we eat the more we enjoy eating.
I’m interested in challenging the ideas of identity, co-existence and diversity. My aim is to express the experience of foreignness and estrangement as universal conditions, reminding the viewer that we can all be – or have been – a foreigner to something, someone, somewhere at some point in time. My artistic practice is spread across a variety of media; however the manipulation of paper is certainly my natural form of expression.
One of the main reasons I have applied to xxxxxx University three years ago, was the option of being able to study abroad with Erasmus exchange programme. I believe that it would be beneficial to my art practice to study alongside aspiring artist with backgrounds opposed to mine. Mxxxxxxx University became my first choice as I am certain that this exchange would enrich me, both personally and academically. I seek out inspiration in exploring different lifestyles, cultures and mentalities. In my opinion, intercultural exchange is necessary to fully understand the highly complex and fast-paced society we live in, and being able to learn from one another is an advantage in every aspect. Mxxxxxxxx University was the only institution on the list which taught classes in the native language, which to me is a vital compound to an authentic experience of a study exchange. Studying abroad would not only help me gain a broader knowledge of Germany’s culture and language but also to experience a different approach to education.

Two countries run through my blood, another lives in my heart. I would like to discover if I can find a piece of home in Mxxxxxx, perhaps non-physical, supposedly imaginary however certainly subsequent.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration. I am eagerly awaiting your positive response.
Sincerely,
Paola
