motivational letter

Dear MontainHiker:
I am applying to a fashion design course this month and I need to write a motivation letter. I have never done it before and English is not my mother language. I am from Portugal, so besides the need to write this letter, I also have to take the IELTS exam and have been preparing for it. It hasn't been easy but I am working really hard to succeed. Though I am having a little help from a friend, we do need some guidance to understand how to make the perfect motivation letter. I want to study fashion design and here in Portugal there aren't many opportunities in this area, so I really need to go abroad to fulfil my dream. I have written my letter, but from all the posts I have seen related to this item, I can see I will need to change many things. Could you please allow me to send it to you to have a look? I am open to comments, suggestions, etc... anything to improve it! I need to send it till the end of this month
