Dear Sir or Madam,

I am hereby applying for entrance to the Bachelor program in International economics, management and finance at the Università ****** for the 2012 fall term.

First of all I would like to present some background information about myself. I am originally from *******, Germany. Currently I am living in ******, Switzerland and I am enrolled in the first year at the University of ******

Since my early years the question of my future university studies and my profession was very important to me. Since my first years at school English was one of the main subjects and since 7th grade I also started learning French. I was always very enthusiastic about foreign languages, this is why I attended summer school in Milan in summer 2011 to improve my basic linguistic survival skills in Italian.

During my last two years in high school I was also able to choose economics as a scholastic aptitude course. Having an insight into the field of economics at school made me realize that I want to study something in the business division.

My interest in the Bachelor Program at ****** has a lot to do with the information I acquired about its excellent international program and some great references about the University from friends studying at Università ********.

My aim is to work in an international field related to economical and business affairs and I am convinced that the Bachelor program in Iemf at Università ******* would provide me with the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills I need for a successful business management in the future. The highly qualified lectures, the modern teaching methods and the academic environment at Università *****will motivate and enable me to achieve my goals.

I am aware oft he highly competitive demands of the program, but I have enough ability, ambition and motivation to cope with the requirements for a successful study at the University. Having already collected experiences at University of ****** I am prepared to comply with this study curriculum, which I found extremely interesting. Adapting and integration in the Italian culture and life style should not be a problem, since I am already familiar with this, having spent almost every vacation in Italy and having lived there for about 6 weeks.

In conclusion I would like to say that I like to take responsibility and to work as part of a team. I am eager to gain new experiences and in my opinion this program is the best way to achieve my future goals. Its international aspect and very high standard of education encounters different students from various countries, so the interaction during the study is enriching and exactly what I am looking for. I am positive that the Università ***** is an excellent start for an ambitious business career.
