Dear Sir /Madam

I would like to take this opportunity to apply for post graduate diploma in accounting sciences at University of XYZ. In order to give you a brief overview of my previous qualifications and work experience I would like to state that I completed my Association of Chartered Certified Accountants qualification in December 2010. After meeting the necessary requirements I became an associate member of ACCA in May 2011. (Please corroborate with the attached documents)

I started my professional career as an audit trainee with Ernst & Young, ABC (member firm of Ernst and Young Global) in February 2005. I gained valuable exposure in almost all sectors of the business environment during my four years of article training which is a pre requisite in becoming a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of DE (DE) and ACCA. Currently I am working in an Accounting and Finance department of a MN based company where I am responsible for accounting, planning, reporting, managing payable and receivables. My reasons for selecting XYZ are

1. Its distant learning programme which suits the working professionals like myself. 2. Recognition of my prior qualifications. 3. XYZ’s degree are widey recognized locally as well as internationally. After completing the post graduate diploma in accounting sciences, I plan to continue my education towards C.A (MN). I am looking forward for your kind assessment of my application to be accepted for the said degree. Kind regards
