Motivation letter v. 2
Hi there! I will appreciate it a lot, if you read my motivation letter and leave any comments on it. Thank you very much!
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a * year student of the ********, Russia. I am writing to you because I have a strong desire to study at “Master in Strategic Project Management” **** and I want to share my motivation with you.
After market economy takes the place of planning economy, a great number of enterprises in Russia stopped functioning because of absence of qualified managers who could work in new conditions. Nowadays, the production of goods and services is still on low level, because big business want to earn money quick and easy by selling oil and gas, and does not want to develop other spheres of production; and the defence industry is the only industry in Russia which is still well functioning. So, I have a dream to make a contribution into the diversification of Russian economy. I want to work as a strategic manager in a Russian enterprise which will produce goods and services for peaceful use.
I have an excellent background for applying for ****. Studying in **** gave me a thorough understanding of how the manufacturing and business processes are organized. The work in students’ union brought me an experience of how to communicate with people and how to organise and motivate them to work hard to fulfil a project in a rigid time frame. While sports activities have always charged me with positive energy and make my character strong.
I should also notice that it is very important for me to receive **** scholarship.
Obtaining a degree of Master in Strategic Project Management will help me to fulfil my dream to develop the production of goods and services for peaceful use in Russia.
I have enclosed all materials required for acceptance into the master’s program. Thank you very much for considering my application. I am looking forward to a positive response.
