Motivation Letter to Maastricht university for a master in Neuroscience

hello,
I'm German and live in France for three years now, so you can imagine how my level in english has decreased. I am in the last year of bachelor and would like to apply for a master in the netherlands.
I know my letter is not finished. I hope you can help me, because I don't know how to write this in english. I never wrote a formal letter in english so don't know the formal english.

thank you for your help!!!

PS. how do i have to start the letter if i don't know the name?
and how do I finish my letter? any flowery phrases i could use?

Here is the letter:

@font-face { font-family: "Arial"; }p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal { margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial; }div.Section1 { page: Section1; }
I have grown up in Berlin, Germany, and am now finishing my last year of Bachelor of Science in Psychology in Rennes, France.

I would like to study Cogitive and Clinical Neuroscience in your establishment, because it seems being a well ranked university, combining neuroscience and psychopathology.

As my major field of study in secondary school, besides English, was Biology, I got to know a rather critical, scientific approach of the human mind.

In the last three years I got to know another way of approaching human mind, a rather clinical, descriptive approach.

I never could and never wanted to make a choice between the clinical psychology on the one hand and the neurosciences on the other hand.

Unfortunately, most bachelor programmes demand to choose one position, because of the still current opposition of clinical psychologists an cognitive psychologists.

I made the choice to acquire a well founded basis of psychopathology in the University of Rennes 2, in France ( a rather lacanien faculty) and would like to complete my knowledge with the neuroscientific theories of mind, with a master’s programme which combines different points of view, i.e. clinical, cognitive and neuroscientific approaches.

My professional project is to join psychoanalysis and neurosciences. A project which seems bold for number of psychoanalysts, but can no longer be ignored due to the advance of technology in this last decade.
