00Last summer I graduated from Saint-Petersburg State University of Telecommunication and obtained a Master Degree in Regional Studies focusing on Scandinavian countries. It was a very interesting program with a wide and multi-disciplinary approach to foreign affairs, mostly specializing on North European values and view on international rights and relationships. My thesis work was about changes of the shipping policies of 0100Sweden0200, 0100Denmark0200 and 010200 in the view of new facts of European integration. 02br

00During two last years of University I worked part-time at first and this year full-time in a joint Swedish-Russian logistics and shipping company as a secretary and translator, representing the interests of the Swedish party here in Russia. While working in the company I got a clear picture of the knowledge I got from University and those gaps which I would like to be filled. I feel the lack of concrete managerial and economic education and practice. I think that I will be in much stronger position and my career prospects will be much larger after I study those courses indicated in your Program Content, like Accounting & Finance, Marketing, etc. I have understood the deep difference of Russian and International (cc American and European) view on business running ways and it is especially evident in financial sphere. As I can see now the Russian companies have a tendency to unit with foreign corporations, and thus more and more international structures appear with business interests both in 010200 and abroad. I can see the future of my career and life somewhere in the middle between two different business cultures, working in some large international corporation like a mediator, who can see the advantages of both systems and can elect the best way of business driving. For achieving this goal I definitely need this business education with a possibility to go forward for MBA.02br

00 00I have also thoroughly looked throw the range of elective courses which you provide and noticed that most of them focus on the areas which were my main subjects in Russian University, such as International Relations and European Integration, and I am very interested in comparing and looking into these aspects from a different point of view.02br

00 00While studying at University I participated in a number of short-term exchange programs in 0100Sweden0200, but I look forward to study in Central Europe and especially in 00. I have been a number of times in 010200, I adore the city and the province, and I started to learn a little of Hungarian, because I think that there is no possibility to truly understand the people. What I specifically like about the 00 is its internationality, meaning not only the high percentage of international students and professors but also the challenges which appear in front of the person studying and living in international surrounding and which I would love to face to.02br
