--- MOTIVATION LETTER ---

Subject: Candidature for a PhD position at IFPEN - Combined study by LES and optical diagnostics of the flame stabilisation in diesel combustion.

Dear Dr. G,

As I read on the PhD proposition document, you are looking for someone with the motivation and skills needed to address the challenge of the reduction of pollutant emissions in diesel combustion. My career ambition is to become a leader in innovative combustion systems; that’s why I would like to express my high interest to work on this project.

I’m fascinated by the sustainable automotive technologies. I did my masters’ in Automotive engineering for Sustainable mobility from Polytech Orléas/ISAT, France and completed my bachelors’ in Mechanical engineering at the Universidad Nacional in my hometown.

I develop my interest to study the combustion process in diesel engines after a rewarding experience working on my Master Thesis in the laboratories of the CMT- Motores Térmicos.

Furthermore, my recent experience as an entrepreneur has teach me new and valuable skills such as being focus and disciplined while dealing with multiple responsibilities under long-term stress.

I am keen on enhancing my academic calibre and technological prowess, and want to contribute towards building a greener and efficient world through my future doctoral research work.
